With only a week and a half until the tournament, we've
been rounding out the team's skill sets, making sure they have an
understanding of weapons and techniques that have only been lightly
touched upon.
Script-writing is down to the finale, which is proving more difficult than hoped. But hey, hopefully fifth time's the charm.
Well, that's about all for this week. Until next time!

Arming Ourselves
Greetings one and all!
This week, the team assembled to turn out a large number of padded weapons in preparation for the tournament in August. The jury's still out on whether they'll be enough...
Sunday, the team proceeded to practice with said weapons, developing their preferred loadouts for the great event.
Also, with the new perspective on our work, I can say that script writing is finally in full swing again, and going quite well. One of the ideas from earlier this year is being revamped and repurposed under the new outlook.
Anyway, that's about all for this week. Until next time!

A Cut Above
Hello again! This week has been quite interesting
thus far. First off, Joe (one of our long time stunties) came back to the state for a visit, and just in
time to surprise a fellow minion and join in the dueling session.
We ran a multi-tiered dueling exercise, which everyone found quite challenging, and underscored the differences between one-on-one combat, and the chaos of the multi-combatant melee.
Also, we've been working on putting together the story of us, what makes our group unique, and why we do what we do. The answers to some of the questions put to the team have been surprising, but have also generated a happy side effect. They've cast my end of the job in a new light, and have given me new inspiration and direction in my writing. I look forward to seeing what comes of it. :)

Sniping
Greetings, one and all!
This week had a bit of a broad focus. Our last meet kicked off a lot of discussion about how the team can gain support for our next project, what our story is, and many other things.
The stunt team did a little sniper practice, using padded arrows to try to hit a moving target...
That ran until fingers and arms were very tired.
