Greetings, one and all! Keeping with the theme of late, this week was divided
into three distinct streams.
First, we’ve spent time animating the forest firefight from Episode 6. This is new to me, because it’s also the first time the object I’ve been manipulating has been in 3D space, which makes aligning it with the 2D video of someone running and firing challenging, to say the least.

Second, we’re still working through the ship models, though a complication with
the engines on the Hunter’s ship has slowed that a little.
Lastly, on Sunday, the team met for their final instruction
in core dagger plays. After that, we had them choreograph fight scenes, using
what they’d learned from the preceding weeks.
The fights were each unique, with plenty of energy. All in all, I’d say it was
a resounding success.
Well, that’s about all for this week. Until next time!
