Roughly There


Greetings, one and all! So… what to say about the week… Well, first off, we finally have the rough edit for the series trailer. We’ll need to jump through a few more hoops before we can deliver it at highest quality, but the first step is finally done.

Sunday, the team met and reworked the choreography from last week, forging it into a quite energetic fight.






Lastly, due to the early onset of cold and flu season, some marketing and promotion meetings have been delayed, but we still soldier on with what we can, and even turn our eyes to what lies just over the horizon… But more on that later.

Precise Cuts


Greetings, one and all! This week’s storms have heralded an early fall, which means last week’s filming of the crystal towers happened not a moment too soon.
The principle task of the week has been attempting to make a trailer for the series, which is proving to be more difficult than one would hope. Several iterations in, and I’ve yet to find the right balance of elements. Still, we soldier on.
Sunday saw a return to indoors training sessions, as the rain was pounding on the roof. This time, it was precision exercises, with stunties making strikes between obstacles and to specific parts of the target in order to improve their technique.






After that, they began a brief choreography session, which will probably be picked up next session.

Meeting on Music


 Greetings, one and all! This week was host to a few notable moments, chief among them being another video chat with our composer, this time discussing backgrounds, character motivations, and story themes.
 

Secondly, we finally finished painting the crystal tower. Within 24 hours we had filmed it, and integrated it into the primary scenes. There may be one more scene to add it to, but after that, we’re done.


Which brings us to the other big milestone. The edit has been locked on the last four episodes! With that done, and the composer renders made, all we have to do is find the right day to send them off.
