Greetings, one and all! So, a spot of good news. The
Brightsword team has been invited back to Think Brain Candy for this
years Downtown Trick or Treat. This year, we plan to do a sci-fi theme,
to link in with our webseries script. (Oh, did I mention that the new
series is sci-fi? Surprise!) Wednesday, we took a look at the location's new setup. Then Sunday, we broke down the overall look of the scene, and started discussing availability, and what each team member would play.
In
other news, I'm currently 27 pages into the short script, and hope to
get at least 13 more done by the end of the week. Hopefully that's
enough to finish the mini-arc.
Well, that's about all for this week. Until next time!

A Little Fall of Rain
And so Fall has returned to the valley. The rains kept us
indoors this week, so we spent our time focusing on the second step of
Phase One marketing, and I have been working on scripts, as well as
editing and refining the humor pitch, which uses material from, but is
much shorter than, the vision pitch.
A quiet, but randomly productive week, all in all.

Building the Base
Greetings, one and all! This week had an assortment of events. Wednesday
evening, some core team members met to map out how we are going to
expand our audience, and pay for the next project. Part of that will
include me writing a short web-series, so that new audience members will
have something to follow as we build up to the big things. After
working through various different scenarios, the rough outline was laid
out last night, and should be refined today.
Sunday, the team met, and choreographed a single sword duel, mostly just to stay *ahem* sharp.
Our new choreography method is proving incredibly efficient, when it comes to creating duels. Hopefully we'll be able to put it into practice, one day soon.

Meet to Market
Greetings one and all! This week has had much more of a focus
on the business aspect of filmmaking, with various meetings to
hash out what our strategy will look like.
I've also discovered that I'll need to go in for another recording session for the vision short, as there were a few key points that were missed the first time around. Plus side, I now have reference from all of the other interviews So, with a little work, I may be able to simply connect the dots with my new material.
