Greetings, one and all! So, this week was a very long one,
especially as I was working very hard to stay healthy for the readings on
Saturday. Sadly, that didn’t entirely work, but thankfully the cold was mild
enough that it didn’t interfere. The readings went very well, and we’re now
much closer to having our final cast.
In an effort to use the time when I wasn’t quite at full capacity well, we took
some time to precisely break down who appears in what scenes, how much of that
scene, and who they interact with. As this is a project that focuses on more of
an ensemble cast, a broad range of characters that come and go in the story,
knowing how you can arrange to have actors with full time jobs work within what
would easily be a full summer shoot is vital.
On top of all that, the team met again this week, and we focused on a bit of
the winding and binding of blades, along with a choreography exercise for the
new stunties.
Oh, and a bit of demonstrating live steel, as well...
So, all in all, a very productive week for being a bit under the weather.
Well, that’s about all for this week. Until next time!
