The Great Return to Reality

Greetings, one and all! This last week marked an important milestone on the path back from the madness of these last few months. In our first ever house call, we went down to Roseburg for our annual fifth grade historical immersion swordplay class.

As both counties fell safely within the Phase 2 reopening criteria, there was no issue with getting this in before the year officially ended. A good time was had by all, and sources say the class still hasn’t stopped talking about it.

This week has also seen another important step. We’ve managed to turn the mistakes of last week into a semi-serviceable bracer. Now we just need to find some heavy black elastic…

Last but not least, we are less than a week away from the full reopening of our stunt team. With the reopening of the state, we can now move beyond family group training partners, though there will still be some limitations. This week the team flexed their sparring and choreography muscles, preparing for the return to business.

It’s strange to be back, after months of something like suspended animation. Hopefully everything will continue to progress well, and we’ll be able to show you more of what we’re working on as it does.

Well, that’s about all for this week. Until next time!
