Siegeworks 2.0

So here we are, one week away from the release of the final episode of GATEWALKERS Season 1. Final touches are being made, and we all wait with bated breath to see what David will come up with for the culminating score. In the blog post for the week following the release , we’ll be revealing a secret project that has a very long history with Brightsword Productions, but an oddly short preproduction cycle.
Training continues, despite the craziness of this summer. After the SWAT team week, we followed up with the same general idea, clearing a building, but this time the participants were using swords and spears.

The dynamic diverged from standard military procedures so severely that proper technique with modern weapons is likely to cost you a hand, or your life, when dealing with bladed weapons.
Choreography has also commenced for the secret project, of which we’ll give you a teaser below.

That’s about all for this week. Until next time!

CLEAR!

Well, it is with great joy, and not a little bit of shock, that I announce that Episode 13 is ready for transfer to David for his composing work, bringing my involvement on the artistic side of Season 1 to a close. With a suddenly clear schedule, (the term being relative, of course,) thoughts have turned to both the past and future, thinking about what we’ve done, looking toward what is to come.
Well, okay… I do take a break from that for a bit, especially when the stunt team comes knocking.

After a course on the proper handling of firearms, we went on to the proper way to storm a building.

This was fairly run of the mill and boring, until we added “terrorists” to the mix. That certainly inspired adherence to proper technique, as well as a healthy sense of paranoia, as one never knows what lies around the next bend…
Well, that’s about all for this week. Until next time!
