Greetings, one and all! We're back from the Downtown Trick or Treat, and, well... we're alive. That's
always a good start. Thankfully, our experience from last year allowed
us to fine tune the process, so we had a fairly smooth flow of kids and
their parents through the shop, actually handing out candy to more in
less time. However, some families started about 45 minutes early, so it
was a scramble to put the finishing touches on the scene. Fortunately,
we'd anticipated they would start a half hour early, so we were mostly
ready, anyway.
By the actual start time, the crowds were already thick on the sidewalk, and in the store.
It was different for me, personally, because I was acting full time, instead of being one of the ushers.
The
event went well, and even cleanup went surprisingly smoothly. The day
wrapped, and we all went home to crash. Now, we rise early to write this
blog, and bring you the first pictures from the event. Hope you
enjoyed!
Until next time!
