Teaser Shoot, Week 2

The meat of our teaser project has now been shot and edited together. Two more shoots are planned for within the month. They will be used to reinforce the scale of the world we hope to show our viewers.

The shoots this last weekend took place on Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon. The first was shot in the hill country north-east of here, (half way up Snow Peak, for all you mid-valley residents.) Call time for crew was about five AM, cast was six o'clock. Unlike the previous shoot, it was very cold and damp, making it a challenge for people to deliver their lines. That said, they all did an excellent job, despite the challenges. Also unlike the first shoot, we had prosthetics work to do, so makeup time was closer to two hours this time around. I honestly never thought that I'd pay that much attention to someone's ears... but, well, you'll see why below.

The second shoot bridges the gap between the events of the previous shoot, the fight, and those of this weekend. I'll leave you to speculate as to what that might be. :-)

All in all a productive week, on many fronts, both Othersight and the teaser.

Prosthetic work
"Wait, I thought you knew where we were going!"

"So, what's my line?"
"Huh, that's funny."

We wandered around for hours trying to find a spot that would suit the nature of the first ruling race. I trust we succeeded. :)
