Models, Math, and Monologues

Greetings, one and all! This week opened up with the ADR session for our lead villain, employing the voice talents of the ever flexible Shawn Pruett. The session itself was entertaining, as we tried out different deliveries, and he acclimated to the new challenge of doing the voice and accent, while also speaking in a fictional language.

Sunday, the team met, and since yet another bout of sickness meant we didn’t have the materials for the next phase of modelmaking, we dove into the opening salvo of a large choreography challenge. A welcome reprieve after sitting hunched over for the last few weeks.

Monday saw the syncing of still more audio, as well as the creative mixing of wild takes for reactions, and a few injuries. On top of that, we put a wrap on another effects shot for the alleyway scene.
Tuesday was a mirror of itself a week prior, as we turned to still more math, to calculate what was needed and the most efficient use of materials for the Imperium cruiser model. Boring, but necessary.

Well, that’s about all for this week. Until next time!
