Hello, again! After a brief interlude, we return to the
business of preparing actors for the shoot, and that with a vengeance. The
weekend in particular was full to bursting. Saturday saw us blocking out
several scenes with the actors, coupled with some dagger training.
If all goes according to plan, this will save valuable time on set during the shoot, as the actors will already have an idea of the flow of the scene.
Sunday was the first time in a very long time when the whole team was able to turn out. We managed to work on half of the big fight scene without ever recycling stunties. It was a good day, full of the beautiful chaos of battle.
Last but not least, we’ve also managed to squeeze in a few readings for various bit parts, characters who are only there for a scene or two. That went fairly well, so now we just have to decide who slots in where…
