A Week in the Workshop

Greetings, one and all! This week has been heavily crafting-centric, with sewing, test fittings, and a ridiculous amount of foam smithing. One of my brothers has taken up the reins on the suit of armor we’ve been working on for this past year, and we're nearing completion. Unfortunately, a slipping buckle led to a cascade failure that we’ve just managed to jerry-rig our way out of. The plus side is that the torso is finally actually completed, and now we’re working on the legs…

Sunday was a day of preparation for the set building session this Thursday. Some costuming was done, but the bulk of the manpower went to extracting and organizing the lumber that we’ve collected over time, including the return of a truck load of the pallet wood we’d salvaged. On top of all that, we’ve been taking delivery of several costume elements that we couldn’t do for ourselves…

Well, that’s about all for this week. Until next time!
