Blades Again

Greetings, one and all! This week has been a solid mix of events. We started with several readings for supporting characters, which went quite well. We are in the process of arranging several more, but that has been delegated to our second AD while we turn to production design.

Plans for a ship interior have been drawn up, and modified for ease of construction.
Directly after that, the team met for a very wide range of jobs. One arm did readings, while another cut out armor plates, and another choreographed a fight scene.

Monday, we worked on creating safety blades for our stunt people, so they can more readily commit to their strikes. This is a new experiment, and there is no telling if the metal finish will even stay, but it's worth the effort to find out.

Tuesday was dedicated to further armor experimentation.
We have many errands scheduled for today, a highlight being the costuming meeting scheduled for tonight.

Well, that's about all for this week. Until next time!
