Greetings, one and all! First off, it's time to make our big
announcement. Our lead has finally been cast! Ladies and gentlemen, may I
introduce to you Joanna Reardon!
This
week saw some work on the blades we'll be using for close-ups, along
with a paint job on one of the helmets, and rubberizing its breather, in
the hope that it will reduce paint flaking. A pair of sci-fi cuffs have
been cut, hinged, and padded, now we just need to make sure the latching
mechanism works. Sunday,
Joanna came to begin her training, while the rest of our team labored
in the background, finding what lumber we can use to create the ship
set, and continuing to work on the trooper armor.
While
things were somewhat delayed, due to the holiday, we nonetheless
managed to arrange some more casting sessions for the week, as well as
prep for the next phases of costuming and set construction.
