Beaches and Breakouts

Greetings, one and all! I’m happy to say that the oversight of the weeks and months leading up to last week is being quickly corrected, and the presentation is coming together well, if slowly. I’ve decided that the presentation will be capped on either end by the two videos I’ve been working on. As they are the persuasive bits, most of what I’ll need to do in the middle is give them our background, and tell them how they can be a part of what we do.

In other news, we went on a bit of a location scout to the coast Thursday, in search of an important location for early in the script. I personally have no photos, my scout partner has them, and is currently at work, but they’d mostly be cliffsides, anyway. There’s a lot of trying to figure out what will and will not be seen with different camera angles, as the coastline is naturally fairly developed, and the beach is a wide open space.

Lastly, the team met on Sunday to block out the emotional climax of the movie. Not to worry, it still involves swords…

For as short as the action is, it still took the bulk of two hours to plan, as it’s quite intricate.

Well, that’s about all for this week. Until next time!
